Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author over the seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina began her writing career by with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. She initially adored the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she eventually, she stopped her the interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. The store was very successful for 18 years before she decided to sell it. After that, she started her first cookbook. There were many more cookbooks, and magazines columnists that came later. Another success was the Food Network Television show. In addition, she offers products that range from food items to storage containers and tools. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself that hasn't been to a cooking class and has never worked in an kitchen. She is known for her simple style of cooking as well as her easy approach to entertainment.
