Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s starting in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Later, in 1956, she had her breakthrough on Broadway with Li'l Abner. In 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she established herself as an effective television director in several series including Supernatural & The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. She spent her childhood there and her adolescence. She settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
