Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is a American model, singer-songwriter and actress. Most well-known is her part in the CW television series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as the main singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in TV and films like How to Be Single Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, is the daughter of an older sister Sloane Momsen. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. At the age of three, she began her acting career as a professional as a part of a nationally telecast Shake 'n Bake commercial. Momsen's professional career came to stop for more than three years before she was offered a lead role in Misconceptions, a WB series Misconceptions. Momsen played a part in Saving Shiloh which was a film from 2006. In addition, she was one of three leading contenders for Hannah Montana's main role. However, Miley Cyrus was awarded the role.
