Pickler's childhood was a rocky one. She was abandoned by her mother when she was only two in order to get out of an abusive relationship. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 into her life, and she took full control of her. But things did not turn out as expected. When she turned 12, the court returned Pickler to her parents - who raised her to adulthood. Pickler with the help of her parents as well as her elder siblings, was too busy to have a family. Pickler stated that time was limited and she learned how to look after the family members from a young age. Pickler was on the cheerleading teams of both high school and middle school.
