Her other roles include Maria in the reboot of Roswell. Hemmens together with her siblings, who are who were older than her, grew up on the farm of Maine. Hemmens has graduated from Mount View High School, Thorndike Maine. She then attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Boston for the last two years. She was sent into Los Angeles to pursue an acting career after graduating. She has also been trained in martial arts and weaponry. Hemmens started her career by playing small part on The Dukes of Hazzard and Glory Road. Hemmens also produced and directed the films short Perils of an Active mind and Designated, both which came out in 2010. In 2010, she was a part-time actress as Alice Verdura in The CW series Hellcats the comedy-drama that follows a college cheerleading executive directed by Tom Welling.
