Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and raised by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. It's not clear if there were any siblings. Luciana was a student at the local high school, and, after graduation in 1955, she studied Naval Engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan. The only woman in the class. She began her modeling career after two years. However, this changed when she received her first acting role through a chance encounter while visiting her father's Rome close friend. It was a 2-line role in the film Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey - an actor who was her first partner. They got married in 1960 and produced the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana had the custody of Charles born on 13 June 1961. Between 1962 and 1970 Luciana had a relationship with Tony Athony who was an actor and producer who was inspired by her work in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as his own mix Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
